4 Drills for Inverted Aerial King Pigeon

I’m sharing 4 aerial drills and poses to prepare for such intense backbend as Inverted Aerial King Pigeon pose which involves a lot of strength and flexibility:



1. Dynamic Bridge to warm up the back and holding to engage more of the back body muscle strength

2. Dynamic Tiger pose to increase spinal flexibility and mobility while twisting

3. Swing Balance - very challenging balance pose to incorporate the whole core as well as the back muscles

4. Preparation stretch for Pigeon pose to open up the shoulders and chest.
